Topic 

 

 

This term, our topic is the Stone Age! We will be discovering and exploring what life was like from the Stone Age through to the Iron Age. The children will learn how times have changed, including homes, tools, food, and daily life. It’s an exciting journey through history, and we can’t wait to share our learning! 

 

 

 

 

PE

PE will be with me (Miss Smith) on Monday and Thursday afternoon.  Please ensure that the children come into school on these days wearing their school PE kit: shorts or tracksuit bottoms (depending on the weather), trainers, school jumper or fleece. 

 

 

Homework  

 

 

There is no expectation in year 3 for children to be doing any specific homework from me. Some great suggestions would be; 

Maths - participating in daily practice of number fluency. This can be done via online maths games that you can find here.  

 

 

Reading -  any extra reading at home is fabulous, books from school can be taken home for reading pleasure from our class/school library. Feel free to document any of your favourite books in your reading journal.
