Topic 

Our topic for this term is Globetrotters!  It is a history/geography based topic, where we will be transported to 12 different countries across the 12 weeks of our summer term. We will be documenting our travels in our Badgers class passports and visiting all of the famous landmarks there are to see! Please see the topic web (below) for further information about our learning this term.   

PE

PE will be with me (Miss Smith) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.  Please ensure that the children come into school on these days wearing their school PE kit: shorts or tracksuit bottoms (depending on the weather), trainers, school jumper or fleece. 

Homework  

There is no expectation in year 3 for children to be doing any specific homework from me. Some great suggestions would be; 

Maths - participating in daily practice of number fluency. This can be done via online maths games that you can find here.  

Reading -  any extra reading at home is fabulous, books from school can be taken home for reading pleasure from our class/school library.
